California State University - Chico School of Social Work

Located about 90 miles north of Sacramento, California State University, Chico opened its doors in the late 19th century as a normal school. As a result, the college offers noteworthy teacher preparation programs, as well as strong programs in business, behavioral and social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences.
